Whereas most factory mufflers significantly smother your vehicle’s powertrain, consisting of an oversized canister, multiple chambers, and baffling that diminish exhaust flow, the 40-Series Delta Flow is engineered to flow!

This muffler features Flowmaster’s patented “Delta Flow” technology, consisting of numerous “delta generators” that increase scavenging and, thus, performance. As a byproduct, the 40-Series Delta Flow produces a louder and deeper tone; however, this muffler isn’t as extreme as others in Flowmaster’s lineup. The Delta Flow 40-Series is the quietest of the dual-chamber 40-series mufflers, reducing in-cab resonance for a comfortable driving experience.

The 40-Series Delta Flow features a mig-welded aluminized or 409SS stainless steel construction, providing exceptional strength and corrosion resistance. While more expensive, the stainless steel variant will outlast the aluminized steel model in most conditions, specifically rust-prone areas.
